kleioscope is a unique, interdisciplinary cultural research portal.
With kleioscope, the kleioforum association is launching the first interdisciplinary cultural directory. kleioscope builds on kleio.com and displays contributions from kleio users.
The cross-disciplinary project, which is based on collective and egalitarian authorship, has the potential to become the first comprehensive digital cultural platform. As a public research portal, it connects contemporary works with cultural heritage and secures both for future cultural and social debates. The project is thus pursuing a cultural studies approach: in the background, the terms used for keywording are anonymously examined, translated, structured and transferred into a taxonomy. The filter functions are constantly being expanded so that the topics and focal points of current cultural production become visible via kleioscope. At the same time, the platform is used for networking, collaboration and discursive debate. The presentation of curated exhibitions is planned.
