Lea Vetter, *1995, lebt und arbeitet in Bern

Lea Vetter completed her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, at the HKB in Bern in 2023 and currently lives and works in Bern.
In her work, the artist creates sculptures and space-filling installations adapted to the respective architecture. She is interested in molecular biology, domestic furnishings, hygiene products, the concept of nature and the artificial copying and manipulation of it. In her shows, contrasts appear between the sterile and the dirtiness of organisms such as bacteria, mushrooms, plants or exhibition visitors.
In her practice, Lea Vetter works with such living beings that appear to change themselves or the material, which surrounds them, for the duration of an exhibition.
